Your video looks like it has depth of field issues. Where you deliberately using a low f-stop. The foreground is in focus but the horizon is not.

Also the antennas are on the legs so when vertically above the controller they are pointing straight at the controller resulting in a very low gain, increasing the probability of loosing RC with metal & concrete in the way.

Yes that was a disaster. They should not announce these technology releases until they can ship quality in quantity. The Mavic Pro apart from the months of shipping delays it also had lots of quality control problems,I.e large batch with mis-aligned camera. They need a new marketing manager...

Fantastic video, would be great on a clear day. You can try resetting the home point at altitude 500m. That should reset the altitude back to 0 and you can go up another 500 with having to land on a building.

Autopilot has a rounded corners or straight lines option for “continue mission” waypoint flights. I have extracted the flyxx.dat log from the Mavic produced a kml file from the data and found the path flown when there is no radio contact with the controller is exactly along the round corners...

This a late reply but I mainly use Autopilot “continue mission” on loss of radio signal with the rc. In this mode the mission is uploaded to the Mavic at the start and the mission is then executed by the Mavic. In this mode it does not matter how much processing power the host iPhone or ipad...

When I deleted all the previous files, you are correct the next dat was fly001.dat. As you suggest leave at least the most recent dat to maintain sequencing.
