The sphere photo is actually a flat image that appears warped when you take it off. I use an app called Theta+ which let's you export as a sphere as well as a video clip of it flying in.

No .that's just your flight on the fly app. You need to go to the drone settings when connected to the drone. Airdata is another app. Sign up on the website then connect your dji account to the airdata app. It will then sync your flight logs to airdata

Then definitely look at the airdata and fly battery stats. Maybe post them here

What are the ambient temps like? Colder temps reduce battery like no end

Are you flying on sports mode or in high winds? In the DJI fly app have you looked at the battery information where it shows you how charged the battery is? Also do you sync to AirData. If I recall it mentions battery strength under power.

Can you not just fly really slowly that will allow you to tweak without noticing, then speed it up? Alternatively use waypoints?
