    Mavic Mini Suggestion

If it’s within your budget, I think it would be great, but— just my opinion, get him a toy drone with no gps to first learn how to fly manually. Once he can master some solid controlled maneuvers on the toy drone, then he will be able to manage the MM well, and will have the skills to really be...

The crane and The rock, my best videos so far. I got a bit lucky with these.

Loved them both, but the crane video a bit long, although really great cinematic moves! These shots give me courage to try some different angles and approaches. Thanks for sharing them.

How many MM owners have been trouble free?

Had mine since early January, fly almost every day. I’ve had zero issues with my MM, and absolutely love it. If I get a couple of high wind warnings, I bring it closer to the ground just to be on the safe side, and have had it to 400’ up and 3000 ‘ out (open terrain) with full control and signal.

Recording settings, transfer of files, footage quality

My video playback on my laptop was very jumpy. 2.7k stuttering constantly, 1080 was better, but still not acceptable. Tried watching the videos from the sd card on a friends newer laptop, and everything was smooth as silk. Time for me to get a more powerful laptop. Could that possibly be...

First Video - Peregrine Loop Queenstown New Zealand

Wow, great job! I’m only two weeks into my MM and just now beginning to learn the editing side. I will be VERY pleased if my first project turns out this well. Thanks for posting, and for the lead on the editing program.
