Well instead I updated the FW on the tablet. It was nagging me to update. So I figured I had nothing to lose. After the update it seems much smoother with few to no glitches.
Better. Samsung isn't known for optimizing and is known for bloatware. When buying a tablet I first got a samsung to use, it was awful, laggy and choppy as hell. I got the nexus 7 and it was FAR smoother.
So today I turn on my Nexus 7 which yesterday didn't find the GO app. Now magically today it decides that it is now compatible. Great so I do all of the firmware stuff (new bird) and power and connect everything. Since I am still indoors and it is dark I decide to just poke around the app a...
I would like to know this too. I tried a Nexus 7 I had and it doesn't work. It won't load the app from play store and the sideloaded one fails to connect to the server so I can't use it. BTW this tab was used for my old DJI P2V and when I load that app from the same tablet the app DOES...
Ok I did that but the app does not connect to login. I just get a message saying network unavailable check internet connection. I can go to the google play store fine so I am connected. The app is bugged or something. Man they seem to over complicate these things.
What else can I do?
So I need to add the DJI Go app and I am using a Nexus 7 tablet. It is using 4.4.3 and the manual says I need at least android 4.4 so it should work. For some reason the store thinks the tablet is not compatible I suppose since it won't show me the app. Is there another option such as...
I am confused by this, wouldn't they be identical except for the color of the plastic? Why would one color have a longer flight time? That makes no sense to me.
Ok thanks. So there is no lock out due to not being able to detect NFZ etc? I would just like to be able to use the drone anytime anywhere and not have to "phone home" to DJI to ask permission.
I am considering buying the Mavic Air. I plan to use a tablet with it and no phone. This means I have no internet connection. Will it still be useable? Will it lock you out due to no connection?
I also heard you need to go online and register with DJI. So if this can't be done in the future...
