Never looked at it that way, I guess all areas are marked and you have to look at the area details to see if the restriction applies to your flight. It seems the DJI app would not give you the warning since the altitude is considerably higher than the legal flight limits. Thank you for the info.
What is my best course of action if my iPad shows disconnected but my controller appears to be connected? I had a disconnect a few times, once when I was high (350') and far (1500') that gave me a scare. I did a quick look around and couldn't readily see it so I opted to fly back by the hand...
Why on startup do I sometimes get version conflict? I got this and flew without updating it, when I got home I checked all the versions and everything showed up do date. A few days later I got a version conflict again. I have a Mavic Zoom running DJI go and an iPad mini.
I attempted to do a rotation from the controller while videoing but on the controller it looked like it would freeze periodically, The video looks better but still looks jumpy, I am confident I was steady on the stick. Can anyone suggest what was up? The world's biggest drone photo and video...

So if I want to fly recreationally in a red zone, say at 100 AGL 25 miles outside DC is a rural area (but inside red), what authorization do I need, can I use the LAANC or what is the process?
