Trying to update Remote ID info in Drone Zone, and not having any luck

All right, I found the answer poking around on the web... Newer DJI drones have a 20 character serial number... Older birds like mine have 14 Character Serial numbers. To get the registration straight on drone zone... Add 1581F at the beginning of the serial number... and then add 0 to the...

KB9R de W7UV.... QRZed says youre in Wisconsin and that your name is also Joseph... good name... When you deleted your registration... what happened to your FA number... did it go away, and you had to pay again? I'll back to Drone Zone and see if I can figure it out... Thanks for the note Joe...

Trying to update Remote ID info in Drone Zone, and not having any luck

Hello, it's been a long while with Work and other commitments. I have updated Both my older drones, Mavic 2 Pro L1P and Mavic Air 2S and controllers to the newest versions. I saw on the FAA site link that someone posted on this group, that the Mavic Air 2S and Mavic 2 Pro (L1P) are...

Drone started losing control and crashing

Could it be a GPS (or lack thereof) issue? GPS maybe be spotty inside his home. Joe

    Light Flicker... illuminated buildings.

This is one of those unintended consequences for high efficiency lighting... LED lights (for example) flicker because unlike incandescent lamps which slowly (relatively anyway) decrease in intensity as power is removed or on an AC power polarity change.. Some LEDs which have actual power...

U.S. Appeals Court Upholds FAA Remote ID Rules

And of course I was referring to Remote ID NOT RFID. I have NO idea how that flipped synapse occurred.

U.S. Appeals Court Upholds FAA Remote ID Rules

And let's not forget the possibility of thieves using RFID to go to your location to get their hands on your drone. While LEO'S DEFINATELY should have RFID info available to them, the general public should not. There is much in RFID I agree with... but I believe that RFID information is best...

HELP!!! Using 400' AGL as my ceiling hypothetically

Yorkshire... thanks for that... I never knew that about UK rules. I have nearly the exact situation you describe Here in Nevada... It really makes it a pain to do inspections on a communications tower because of a cliff near the tower. Thanks for the input.

Ordered... Now, What is... The Golden Ticket?!?!?!

I believe should you see a glint of gold during your unboxing, you will be invited to China to Meet with the head of DJI, meet the oompa loompas who make the drones, fly over a Lithium Iron Phosphate river in a drone, and perhaps be deeded the Company. I wonder if Gene Wilder will be there?

Any interference from high voltage lines?

Generally flying near lines will not be a problem. The aircraft is flying in the air, is not grounded, thus random bolts of energy are going to leap from the wires and vaporize your drone. That being said, yes in the US power lines operate at either 60 Hz or DC. Neither of which will...

    Mini destroyed, now what?

First off, sorry about the loss of your mini and its sd card. I'm not familiar with what sensors it does or doesn't have so I can't help with the why. As crazy as this sounds, instead of looking at this as a failure, look at it as an opportunity. First, you learned that, for whatever reason...

    PART 107 STUDYING

Joe: I took and passed my part 107 last April. Yes, they asked one question regarding moving a "load" away from the center of gravity. Many questions were asked about airspace... so study that A LOT! Good Luck, Joe
