I was waiting to hear the "BRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPP" sound coming as they passed by. :D One of my favorite aircraft for certain. Where we live in central PA there's a small river with a two lane highway on each side probably 100-200' or so above the river at certain points. One day...
Saw someone posted a video of their car driving over a bridge between NJ and PA. Once they reached the other side and were packing up their gear they were told they couldn't fly there by a security guard due to the bridge being under TSA laws. Any truth to this? I imagine it's not worth...
1,400 feet (430m)? I can’t imagine the winds or what you could see that high that you couldn’t at 400 feet or so. Are height restrictions lessened compared to the US?
I’m glad I read this thread. I always like having a full battery but once or twice I’ve taken off with 60-70% thinking it would just be a quick flight out and back. I had no idea the batteries auto discharged or that placing them back into the drone during this cycle would not accurately show...
I'm still confused at what caused it to go down. The altitude shouldn't have been an issue because the Mavic will go negative altitude. So if you took off higher and went lower it would go negative. Telling it to RTH at 300 should still cause it to RTH at 300 unless they have a serious math...
Are you saying to have your drone covered under your homeowners policy or does State Farm offer specific separate insurance for drones? Or is this a joke in reference to the commercial?
I'm new to drones. I bought a Mavic 2 Pro at Christmas and have done a few flights here and there when the weather hasn't been awful. One thing I've become very aware of since buying it is low flying air traffic near our house in Central PA. It seems at any given time there could be military...
I've only had my Mavic 2 since December so my flight time has been limited. These are a couple of my favorites so far.
First is our little town, second is the longest stone arch bridge in the world and finally a Lady Liberty replica in the river. All taken less than a mile apart on different days.
