DJI Goggles and Mavic 2 - What is your experience?

I have a pair of the white goggles which I fly with the M2Z. I fly it with my brother as a caller, with no cellphone, just the goggles and took it past the 1.8Km mark with no problems. I could have easily went past 2 km. It's a particularly interesting experience but requires getting used to. I...

NFZ and requesting authorization from DJI

Dan, yes I'll do the process at the field using my Android phone using data, but I have a plan with 10 GB which I rarely use. This will be a good opportunity to put it to work. Thanks again.

NFZ and requesting authorization from DJI

Thanks DanMan for such prompt reply. I just looked on the app and the airport is labeled blue (it has 3 runways depicted as blue rectangles although there are only 2 operational). It reads as follows: Miramar Airport Level: Authorization Zones Type: Airport Last Sunday at the field I...

NFZ and requesting authorization from DJI

I basically fly on the edge of northern Patagonia in an area that's sparsely populated. I'm also an RC pilot and as is customary here, all of the RC flying activities in this country happen in regional aerodromes which traditionally coexist with whatever general aviation takes place. In the many...

Mavic Pro Goggles newbie question (hopefully)

For what it's worth, I fly my M2Z/white DJI Goggles combo without the phone. Of course, I just fly it in a small air space and never pushed those boundaries which I would define as 400 yards, tops. Never had a connectivity issue. I hope it clarifies your doubt.

I'm getting this message in every flight: Braking Now! Return sticks to midpoints first

Oh, she likes to perform all kinds of pirouettes in front of the camera at an altitude of 300 meters, untethered! Maybe that's the reason for the warning. I'll have to ground her from now on ;)

I'm getting this message in every flight: Braking Now! Return sticks to midpoints first

Interesting. Never thought about that but it's a plausible explanation. The Zoom was about 500 meters away so I couldn't see a flock of birds or even a single one on my screen. I was flying in P mode so its forward and backward sensors were on. I will clean the sensors but I doubt there's...

I'm getting this message in every flight: Braking Now! Return sticks to midpoints first

I'll try that. In a particular case yesterday, I was flying southward and away from the sun at an altitude of 100 mts in a coastal area with no real obstacles around. So it's really puzzling to hear that warning message. Thanks for the super fast response!

I'm getting this message in every flight: Braking Now! Return sticks to midpoints first

This happens when my drone flies unobstructed and even higher than any object within 100 meters. This is starting to frustrate me a big deal. Anybody experiencing the same issue and is there a way to fix it? Thanks.
