Well, this is the option in the Smart Controller, which look like RID to me. But maybe something different though. 🤔

I maybe mistaken, but using the Smart Controller with my Mavic Pro 2 Zoom, there is already a setting for broadcasting RID there (which I can decide to turn ON/OFF for now). So, I suppose the drone is already RID capable. They may just need to integrate that functionality to the DJI app people...

I agree with you on this. It's already implemented with license plates. Mr everybody cannot (at least easily) find out where someone lives using their license plate (which is good). Only cops & DMV have access to this information. Should be the same for drone remote IDs.

DJI will probably tell you that you didn't charge them correctly, or used a 3rd party charger that damaged the batteries, or that you damaged them yourself...etc. I doubt they will take any of those legal action threat seriously though.

I may be the exception here, but I am used to Sony Vegas Pro since they made that program available, and before they got bought by Magix. Now I am at the Vegas Pro 18 version and still like it (they have the Pro 19 out now), if it wasn't for the random crashes that the program unfortunately...
