How did these Chilean protesters take down this drone. I could see where the green lasers mess with the camera. Maybe it was being operated remotely and the pilot really got confused. One would think he could have just gone up to a higher altitude to escape.

I live in the DC area which is a Drone Hell Zone with basically no drones allowed within a 30 mile radius. So I have a Tello that I fly around my backyard and was thinking the Mini might be a good 'upgrade' although from reading the DJI FAQ (see 'd'), suspect the Mini won't fly in the 30 mile...

I made the plunge. $19 is a no brained. The free Udemy drone course looks pretty good too - $78 value although you can usually get Udemy course for $10-12.

Am I right to assume the new DJI controller runs some version of Android (anyone know which version presently)? Will it have some sort of cellular connectivity?

I’ve been using my iPhone Xs Max as my mainstay. Works flawlessly with fantastic screen, super fast CPU/graphics and stability (no hardware or software glitches.) iOS 12 also brought in a lot of improvements.
