Its happened the last 4 times Ive tried it. This is out of the blue, no other problems prior. Contacted DJI so we will see what happens.

It happend 4 times in one day, 2 times in 2 different locations. So there is an issue. Gonna try tomorrow, and if it doesnt fix its going back. My first time purchasing a drone the day it comes out. Now I see why I wait till bugs are resolved.

I own a Mavic 2 Pro, a Mavic Pro, and a Mavic Mini. Not new to this arena. Mini has been working fine since I received it Nov 29, 2019. Today, I get this (below). Im sure itll get worked out, but I'm curious when DJI will remedy these application errors.

The Spark was my first DJI drone. Then came the Mavic Pro, and Mavic 2 Pro. Looking forward to the portability of this lil guy! Have fun exploring this hobby, its awesome!

Resetting Camera Settings fixed the issue. Thank you all for your help! Love this drone community!

Has anyone experienced their Mavic 2 Pro NOT taking pictures? The drone will make the shutter sound, the lights will blink, but the pic will not save in the cache, sd card, or internal storage. Videos work fine. I used the DJI Go 4 app on the Note 9, and my iPad. Same thing. The only difference...

Make sure your not near any metal objects when you calibrate. It may not work if so. The "magnetic interference" and sometimes "compass error" notifications will show up when metal objects are in the vicinity.

One day I’ll get the smart controller. I just got the IPad 2 months ago, and M2P a week ago. I’m sure the smart controller is awesome!

Indeed! I use a skyreat holder, it folds up nicely and doesn't take much to get it up and going. It also balances well with the tablet. I'm very happy with my setup. I fly everyday the weather is nice (meaning not too windy or raining) so I need to be comfortable.

I stopped using my S8 galaxy and purchased an iPad and it made a world of difference. Android gave me multiple errors with that phone to the point where the aircraft wouldn't connect with the controller at times. My iPad is 128gb with LTE. So pics and videos are stored on the iPad, live maps...

I haven’t tried that, but I will. The phone is more convenient than the tablet but having an LTE 9.7” tablet changes a lot for me while flying. I’m sold!

I didn’t solve the actual problem with android, I just went around it. There isn’t a solution for the problems with android. DJI products work better overall with apple products. I, personally like android better than apple, but if they work better when flying my drones I’m all about it.
