Brand new Mavic Pro - Fly More Combo - battery issues - all three batteries DOA

These batteries require regular maintenance, if they sit too long they will die just like any lipo. You need to top them off every couple months or so if you’re not using them. It sounds like the OP got a Fly More Combo that has been sitting on a shelf for years, in which case I would ask for a...

What would you 3D print for your Mavic?

I designed these extensions in Tinkercad. From day one I found the Mavic to be too close to the ground for where I fly and I don't want to have to take a landing pad. No interference with the front foot antennas or rear sensor. You can download the files here on Thingiverse. Over 11,000...

Sending my 6 month old Mavic Pro back to Dji!

My experience with DJI repair here in the states has been great. Over the years I have had to send in my Inspire 1 V2, P3P and about 6 months ago my MPP. All turnaround times were about 7-10 days door to door. The MPP was having multiple issues but mainly losing connection at varying distances...

Mavic Pro - Fighting with the AutoFocus

The manual focus to infinity on the Mavic has been buggy since day 1, it doesn't actually focus to true infinity. Because these lenses don't have a physical stopping place like "real" lenses do, it's impossible for the app to know where infinity is when using the slider. Even most DSLR lenses...

Mavic Pro - Fighting with the AutoFocus

First, in camera settings make sure AFC (Auto Focus Continuous) is turned off. Then make sure you are in MF. Take off, switch to AF and tap to focus on something a good distance away which will set focus to infinity. Then switch back to MF and leave it there. Also focus peaking is a great tool...

    Mavic on a cruise

    New Platinum Props Tested

If you're flying your Mavic in locations where decibels are an issue, I think you should ask yourself if you should be flying there in the first place. I'm in no way and have never been part of the 'drone police' on this or any of the respected threads, but the laws are setup to not only protect...

Is there a difference between 1080 and 4K?

1080p 60 fps on the Mavic is incredibly flawed because of pixel binning. Best to stay away from it.

Just got mav back from repair and it's doing some weird things.

I believe when you send it in for repair they automatically update to latest fw before they do anything. I would update the app to latest and make sure you're logged in. It sounds like the recent 'if you're not logged in you can't fly very far' issue.

    What happens f I don't up-date the firmware?

Well there you go King Robby has spoken, write it in stone and move on. :)

    What happens f I don't up-date the firmware?

Yes fw v01.03.0700 was put out specifically to support the DJI goggles. So if you're getting those youlll need to update.

    3D printed parts

As flyNfrank said thingiverse is for sharing 3D designs so others can print them up. You can download the files then send them to someone else to print for you, just google "3D Printing Services'. As far as the strength there are many many factors such as material used (PLA, ABS, PETG, FLEX...

    What happens f I don't up-date the firmware?

Not a thing. I'm still on several fw versions back as well as older Go4 App, not sure of the version. If you're happy with the way it flies no reason not to leave it be. Having said that if something happens and you file a claim with DJI they may refuse to honor warranty if you're not current...

Mavic drifting left or right while flying foward

You need to have all 4 arms folded in for the IMU cal, so I'd say no to the extensions. I recently shot some video and sped the footage up between 300%-400% for all the shots and had no drifting, which becomes very obvious at higher speed changes. So it's definitely not an issue with all Mavics...

    Leg extensions.....

There's a company in the UK, MultiRotor Spares, that sells my design if you're interested. It's also on Thingiverse if you have access to a 3D printer.
