Use of any one of three buttons/slides likely would have solved your problem: 1) Mode slider (T-P-S) 2) Pause or 3) RTH. Sometimes when using certain automatic modes like POI, I will keep my finger on the pause button in anticipation of issues exactly like this one.

Noticed the same problem a while back when I started caching videos to the BT300 from my M2Z. Haven’t had that problem since I turned caching off, though. I fly with my BT300’s 95 percent of the time with an average of a flight per day, a consistent pattern for me for 14 months.

Have found that caching video on my Bt300 from my Mavic 2Z CAUSES lag, and for that reason I don’t cache. Heat, the consummate enemy, also causes lag and shutdown, of course (a well documented affliction of BT-300).
