I have not had a claim. If I do and the rates go up, probally still a better deal then paying for DJI Care and another $79 for repair - providing they would. No coverage if your drone flys off into the sunset never to be seen again with Care.

You can get State Farm insurance just for the drone with a stand alone policy that covers any loss with no deductable. $60 for a $1000 limit.

You can purchase State Farm policy for the drone for $60/year that they say covers any loss $1000 coverage on my drone.

Next time, skip the DJI Care and check out State Farm. I have a $1000 policy specific for the drone, with no deductable. Have not had to use it yet, but supposedly the policy covers any loss even it it flys off into the sunset never to be seen again.

Not sure if State Farm is at your location, but for $60 you can buy a $1000 policy with no deductable and coverage for any loss.

State Farm says that they would insure with no deductible and for any loss. Quoted around $60. Going there tomorrow to follow up and proceed with application if true.
