Under wifi setting you click on custom, and at the bottom of that page you select one of the higher channels (3 digit channels) which are 5.8ghz. it will tell you it will apply after wifi reset which it does automatically. Don't have the balls to try it while the bird is in the air loool ...

Does anyone know what happens if you change the wifi channel/band from 2.4 to 5.8 while mavic is in the air ? When on ground wifi restarts and you loose connection briefly .. Wonder what it does while flying.. anyone tried manually changing bands while flying ?

Are you guys flying in auto wifi mode? Or manually selecting the band? Do i need to restart aircraft/rc once i switch bands? It gives me a restart kind of prompt

I understand that the others Don't.. but people still trying them outside the recommended temperature range. Let's say the air for whatever reason shuts off completely while flying in sub zero temps.. are we going to blame dji ? Because their other drones don't or didn't? I doubt dji will...

Pretty cold here (haven't flown it yet, and not planning on doing so).. Djii clearly states operating temps (not to be flown below 0c) so not sure why people still testing them in freezing temps. Also based on the user manual, has anyone tried this ? Insert battery and turn on for 1-2 minutes...

That's what i thought, thats what my mavic used to do, except if you turned downward sensors off. I guess we'll have to just hold and tilt to shut off for mid air landings How you liking it so far ?

Unreal.. been contemplating to buy, but buying one right now.. i had the mavic pro and i sold it. I honestly don't know why anyone would fly that far anyways, heck even 1 km or less is plenty enough to take shots. I always planned and knew exactly what i was going to shoot before taking off...
