I have been using the Mini 2 cellular without a SIM card for over a year now with no lag or glitches. It is a dedicated monitor so doesn't have loads of apps on it. My only gripe (although by no means a deal breaker) is the display isn't as bright as some other devices. If the Mini 4 is brighter...
A screen grab from video shot yesterday evening of the Queen Mary II departing Otago Harbour in Dunedin, New Zealand.
I'm pretty fortunate to live just down the road and can quickly head down to film the cruise ships as they travel up and down our harbour.
Same as Plawa. Look through the filter with your eye in the direction you plan on filming at. Rotate so the desired polariztion is achieved, then fit to lens at this angle.
I need sleep... My mistake.
In this case it has more merit. Yet still has the issue of flare, but having an ND filter that also protects the gimbal is a good selling point.
And lastly, you cannot adjust the polarization of that dome filter. Where as with normal circular polarizers, you can rotate to compensate. It is an interesting if not novel idea though. This dome resolves one problem (having to fit a tiny filter to the lens) whilst introducing another (not...
From what I have seen of the Mavic Air, it is truly amazing to see such rapid development of these tiny quads. I still love my Mavic, and get some really good images and footage from it. The thought of the Mavic 2 (or what ever DJI conjours up next) is pretty darn cool.
I just hope they retain...
Does the Mavic use both GPS and GLONASS simultaniously? I didn't think it could.

On my big hexa which has the DJI Wookong FC it'll happily fly in GPS mode with 5 sats. But 90% of the time with that rig I fly in...
This will polarize the image in one direction only. As soon as you yaw the craft left or right the effect will diminish.
I would advise never to rotate a filter whilst it is on the lens of the Mavic as this will put a huge load on the roll motor. If you held the filter just off the lens then...
A polariser will not achieve much at that angle. The camera is pointing towards the Sun in that image. Circular polarisers have the greatest effect at a 90 deg. angle to the Sun.
I have a P10 plus (6Gig ROM) and tried it with the Mavic. I actually have a dedicated iPad Mini2 but thought I would give the phone a blast as it has plenty of grunt.
In my three test flights I noticed a tiny bit of lag (none noticeable with the iPad)
I had problems connecting on two of those...
