I just sold my MA2 with smart controller, was convenient, but preferred using my tablet with the standard controller. I jsut ordered a Mini3 pro with standard controller.

I just sold my MA2 tonight(sold my back up last week) and ordered a Mini3 plus an extra Plus battery. Loved my MA2 but looking to try something new.

i would just do it on a pole/tripod with a camera or a phone. The hassle with the battery swap is going to make you give up before the end of the first day

It could be you got the non ads-b model. I think you can always fly legally inside your own house(doesn't mean DJI app will let you), but I would never fly the MA2 inside, . Good Luck.

Yeah that drone was either dropped or has a majorly defective hinge mechanism. On the OP post, that looks like a pattern defect in the plastic cast, or a scratch.
