Ok, so I tried using my mac pc to connect to the drone aswell, no luck.
I ended up uploading the txt-flight logs to airdata to see if I could find the error message that was displayed, but nothing.

Any help on figuring out what the message was, and what it means would be much...
Had my Mavic pro since the summer of 2017, never had any issues until yesterday when a few seconds after liftoff some kind of warning was displayed on the controllers lcd panel for a second or so, message was "motor block", or "error motor" or something like that. The drone was hovering about...
I tested this a few weeks back, it won't descent automatically, but you can make it descend with stick input to the liftoff altitude meaning you can't go lower (minus altitude)

Smartwater is a onetime fee, at least here in Sweden. I've marked all valuables at home, why not the drone =)
I have soldered quite a bit in my days and I just have to agree with @SHORod and @BuzzyOne
That looks like a problem just waiting to happen. I wouldn't take the risk. Especially since it's an easy fix.

It's doing this for me aswell. Don't have a better solution than to force close it, but be sure to send a report to dji before you close it. Button is next to force close, hopefully this will fix the problem sooner rather than later
