My waiting has been rewarded, they have started the Black Friday thing so I can get some 💵 off 🤑 from experience I don't expect miracles, the props are after all rotating at 5-10k rpms and will produce a ton of noise, but as long as I don't sacrifice anything extra 2-3 minutes for this project...

Yep, that makes sense. It could be impossible to really tell in real flight. Should get myself a set and see how it goes.

Not as thorough as I want to. Just 4 batteries so far. I measured the rpms with an optical gauge. Not precise, but I got something like 14k vs 12k rpms. I did this in hover in my living room so the white ceiling worked great with the gauge. Hope to have some more time to fly on the weekend...

Not louder? you might want to think twice :) Comparing the AIR to lets say the M2 is a huge difference. MAS Claims 3.5dB (50% power reduction) better noise so that should be noticeable. You are totally right on the RPMs though. The Mavic Air should run on some really serious rpms. Suppose...
