Yes, I have been there at the beginning of August. I registered with a local aeroclub paying a small fee. No issues at all at the borders and while flying. Flying in the desert has a bit challenging for my iPhone… but Israel is a fantastic place to fly.
Someone has any update about Israel? I contacted The Aero Club of Israel (fly a drone in israel - bring a drone to israel) and they replied that the only request is to enroll to the aeroclub. But I don't feel so easy about that.
