For professional video and photos seems the Phantom 4 pro V2.0 is a better drone, the phantom 4 pro is 60fps, a mechanical shutter vs a rolling shutter and photos are better. There are many youtube videos about it.
If you are repeating the mission to show progress or removal of material over time I would install permanent control points which can be tagged in every flight over time. Processed and on the correct datum they require. Of course you will need to place CGP's in areas which change over time but...
Dronelink hobbyist version may not do mapping as it says recreational missions and the Pro says commercial missions. I would surely ask them first.
Plus it says Hobbyist can not be used for commercial purposes.
I use the MA1 with dronedeploy and works very well I'm sure many are waiting to...

Where do you put the charger and charger docking station? the pocket is ok for some things like cables filters etc. but not for the charger/power cord/charger station.
I check to see what channels are clear and use accordingly. but 5.8 goes further for me about a mile in rual areas and 1/2 to 3/4 in orhers. well beyond Visual line of sight. As usual it is depending of site location. 2.4G has allot more traffic on it. But there are more and more 5.8G routers...
I fly my MA most of the time with 5.8G no problems and much further flight distances than with 2.4G flights. Pick the channel manually with the least interference.
I have had some very successful aerial mapping missions with the MA.
I believe the functions of the DJIGO4 changes depending on the drone used so maybe he was use to seeing the Mavic Pro screen and when the air was active it changed.
