Yes I did. Attached image is the aftermath of my drone operation. I carefully detached the old one and replace with the new one. Right now I just tried connecting both remote and drone to the pc then remove then connect. Still doesn’t work.

I tried connecting both of them at the same time and it works. But it doesn't do anything special since DJI Assist 2 is just a tool to upgrade, downgrade or refresh firmware of remote and drone.

Oh. Not yet. This is new to me. What should I do when both are connected with the DJI app? When you say DJI app does it mean the DJI Assist 2?

Do you mean this wire? (Attached image) I doubled check it’s connection and it looks fine. How does it usually gets broken?

I assume it is the grey color wire that can be seen through a small hole below the brush less motors on the front arms. I haven't broken that wire. In fact I made sure nothing was broken when I did the soldering and everything else.
