no it has small slithers of rubber bits on the contact areas to protect the RC.
I have both the lifthot and the polarpro flight deck and the lifthor is better imo.... it doesnt put weight onto th antenna array whch i think is a issue and if you get a back pack you dont have to take it off each...

Well I have nothing but praise for DJI service here in Oz! I have had great service from them and cant praise them highly enough. My issues have all been reception related with lack of range.
When you sent the drone back did you get a new s/n? My have all been an replacement drone with new s/n
Maybe get onto the DJI.COM forum and ask Mindy if it is possible to change the s/n with new contact details...dont know if it will work but worth a shot ...goood luck
My drone is away right now but maybe it is the rate at which it get to the max angle....like when you adjust the gain for the cam control etc...to allow smoother ops
