Update:
Response from Civil Aviation Safety Inspector - Flight Operations (Transport Canada) was that as long as all due diligence is tried in contacting the heliport operator and all other criteria met including all required safety protocols, the intent of the regulation is met in this...
This is posted in the Canada forum, thought it was obvious, but maybe it shows up somewhere else as well... According to NAV drone Canada (this is the organization that makes the drone app which needs to be used to fly in controlled airspace in Canada) I need to contact the regulator which in...
This doesn't help in my case when the person in charge of the helipad doesn't respond or get back to me as per my original post. To me it seems the hospital in unwilling to corporate, I think they might think they can deny permission when in fact they legally can not and should be co-ordinating...

Using the App to get permission to fly in airspace that is both Class C and within a heliport. It's asking me for the "Minutes" as per attached photo. What minutes are they referring to? Planned flight time and how long it will take for me to get back to home point? Also, Drone Pilot app says...
I emailed my drone instructor and her recommended skywatch.ai. They sell insurance by the flight/month/annually. And you can send flight logs for a discount. For those looking at this post at some later point....
