This particular area is one of the snowiest areas in the lower 48. Nevertheless, several of the glaciers on Mount Baker have been documented as receding surprisingly quickly...
Here are several images taken recently with my Mavic 2 Pro. The first image shows Seahpo Peak and Baker River, which flows into Baker Lake. The second image shows Baker Lake, which flows into the Skagit River. The third image shows the north fork of the Skagit River emptying into Puget Sound.
Thanks, Mike. I climbed Mount Baker via the Coleman Glacier route many years ago, and started that climb near here. So it was good to get a different view of that area, using the drone this time. Your drone images of the Mount Baker area are super nice, btw!

I think that the term "the Veil of Venus" is another name for "the Belt of Venus", which is an atmospheric phenomena visible shortly before sunrise or shortly after sunset. See - Belt of Venus - Wikipedia
