Modded the Mavic 3's Remote with Alientech's Amplified Duo Antenna, compared range with unmodded remote w/ Yagi Antennas.

Never had any real problems apart from the general anxiety of taking the SC apart and worrying about if I could get it back together again fully working, thankfully it worked just fine and the improved range and penetration was more than worth the effort, don't think I would try it with my Mavic...

Mavic 3 Extremely Unstable When Sticks Applied

Also try turning obstacle avoidance to OFF or STOP and repeat the test in good light conditions and report back.

Don't crash your Mavic 3 with Waypoints missions

On my Mavic 2 Pro I always use LItchi and enable the Height Above Ground Level settings so if you start your flight at Home Point at 250ft AGL and it approaches rising ground such as hill etc as long as the waypoints are not to far apart it will gradually start to climb above the home point...

WHICH IS BETTER FCC OR CE? I live in India and India follows FCC OR CE Mode.?

FCC 100% better, CE power output is far less, simple as that, forget range, interference and urban enviroment works much better with FCC mode every time, I live in UK and CE power levels suck big time.

Mavic 3 multi battery charger - Mini review first impression

Been using the same one for about 6 months now, find it excellent, can get a bit warm when charging 3 batteries at once, but well worth it when you need to do some extended flying time within an hour or two.

do you like the Mavic 3 more than Mavic Pro?

I've really enjoyed my Mavic 3 since all the refined updates, I still have my Mavic 2 Pro though as backup, and i also have really taken to the DJI Fly app as well, seems very, very reliable & so easy to use, for instance I took my Mavic 3 to a local holiday hotspot near me ( Towyn, North Wales...

    3rd party battery chargers

I've been using the blue three lead fast charger for a while now, charges 3 batteries a lot faster than the standard one at a time DJI charger, my batteries are working fine, have 5 now, so needed a way to charge them faster than one at a time.

Exact same reason why I never modded mine.

    Gimble stuck - DRONE CRASH

100% send it back to DJI for repair quote, they did my Mavic 3 with damaged gimble for £79 & sent back a brand new drone, don't even bother trying to repair it, I had no care refresh, very happy with outcome, extra careful with the mavic 3 now.

RC-N1 vs RC Pro signal comparison chart

I've used both controllers, in CE mode & in FCC mode, I own both controllers & can 100% confirm that the RC Pro does have better range & penetration compared to the standard RC-1 if you want to make a judgment based on one person's basis of range via a YouTube video then that's up to you, the...

RC-N1 vs RC Pro signal comparison chart

In the above video both controllers are in CE pwr output at 25mw, it's only when FCC pwr is enabled does the difference become apparent.

Setting aside the increased battery "plus" weight

Any additional min of flight time is a bonus, especially when you really need it, so I'd say yes, the difference in "quality" flying time between my Mavic 2 Pro & my Mavic 3 is very noticeable, I can fly a lot more leisurely knowing I have the luxury of extra battery % on my side now.
