Oh yeah - gimbal calibration does not work - it times out , other setting changes on gimbal do not work…..I was able to calibrate the remote - so all buttons appear to work in it.

    Gimbal not responding

Here is a link to a video of what mine is doing - I’m not a YouTuber - so don’t judge me ? https://youtube.com/shorts/lwO_J6YcD7o?feature=share I am going to continue to check other similar recent posts - hoping someone can lead me in right direction - I fixed my MP1 - this one seems...

    Gimbal not responding

Same problem here - will not calibrate gimbal - wheel will not move camera - not hard finger press on screen - but does work with drone movement to keep camera properly level and shows no error on screen. Also appears to boot up fine with camera making necessary bootup movement

Control from a small patch of clearing in a forest

If a drone crashes in this dense forest - does it make any noise if there is no one around to hear it?? Making this a philosophical thread ?

    Software Udated Mavic Pro

I always update my MP, Autel Xstar premium (no recent updates published) and my Yuneec Breeze - never had a problem. If there is an update - it is for a reason-I figure sometimes wait to hear complaints or issues - but by two weeks I am updating - then I go back and check settings - as some get...

Gimbal Sticker on New Mavic 2 Zoom?

Hopefully those Galaxy Fold owners don’t own a drone too......I think they should be segregated from the gene pool as well......or probably nature will more than likely take it course....

Large amount of interference over water

PolarPro has a nice app that has KP index, filter recommendation, golden hour info, and some weather information. The kp index is used for interference, the app is free and easy to use.

Land with front end facing uphill, or downhill?

Hold your hand out flat - and use it like a landing pad. Keep fingers extended - do not try to reach around the body with your fingers - or you will get an unwelcome manicure. Just my 5 cents worth. Practice makes perfect.

Getting arrested. But found a cool spot

Happy to hear it all worked out and you took the high road and kept yourself from being arrested, hopefully the officers learned something from the experience. Fly save our friend.

Weather was not conducive for drone flying today - by the time lunchtime came it was getting nasty and building up - only good for getting struck by lightning or worse. Tomorrow I give it another go - maybe visit belle glade marina campground at Torry Island (they still have an operational...

Will magic 2 work with crystalsky?

Hmmmm- that is a darn good question- it should since it is dji and mp2 uses the same go4 software - but how about you ship me the MP2 drone - I will be pay for the shipping - since I am such a nice guy and I will do all the testing for you - once I am done I will upload all the video footage to...

    Palm Beach County

I will stay in touch here - I have my little ones this weekend, so we might go out Saturday (tomorrow) to fly. I have my MP 2 batteries ready to go and my Autel xp batteries charging as I write. If I head out it will be probably after lunch but defgnerly before 4pm as that’s when the storms...

Once you get out to the bridge at cr 700 the power lines go north toward canal point/pahokee. I have flown over them and about 100 feet parallel to the south of them on a nearby dirt road that lies between the canal and lines with no problem, however I prefer to keep my distance-just in case...
