one slight point to add on MP's gimbal. it looks so fragile, but do we hear a lot of crashes that crushed the gimbal? not really (or at least not noticeably a serious issue), for me I think I see MP crashing with the gimbal & camera still working well quite often.

if ISO1600 1/50 is the exposure level you are happy with, I would try shooting at ISO800 & 1/25. The "smooth cinematic motion" to set the shutter speed doubling the frame rate doesn't really matter much in nighttime light show I suppose? But changing from ISO1600 to ISO800 gives a so much...

hi, i heard that Japanese gov't had a new regulations that ban flying a drone from the "base camp" up quite recently. But i didn't dig into the details, not too sure about this.

My first night flight back in September @Kwun Tong, Hong Kong. it's really terrifying when once in a while when I look at my phone to check some settings, and when I look up back I can't find my drone. will look for some strobe light devices to make sure I know where it is even in darkness...

went to Japan in September, and flied my drone to take video of Mt Fuji & surroundings of Lake Yamanaka

this place is called Kinchakuda, about 1 hour drive / 1.5 hour train ride from Shinjuku. I guess it is one of the closest places near Tokyo where you can fly a drone. enjoy!

i cracked my props during my first few flights. Crashed into and stuck in trees and finally fell to a bush, cutting into some hard paper box indoor etc. Visible cracks can be seen in 3 out of 4 blades, and the tips of the blades are also somewhat worn. Didnt replace them, as the MP performed...
