That sounds like a newer version than what I have. I was going to try downgrading first DJI Go (if possible) but maybe the new version fixed the problems?
What operating system are you running? I'm using Oreo and wondering whether I should factory reset my phone. I've even been reading about downgrading it to Nougat, the prior Android operator system, but it's a hassle and always a bit nerve-wrecking because you don't want to void the warranty on...
What is the difference between flying it using the USB cable port on the upper left side of the RC, versus the USB cable port on the bottom of the RC? Is there a reason they provide both options?
Hey Guys:
I've been having MAJOR issues with my Mavic Pro. I purchased it in April 2017 and the problem started very shortly after my DJI Refresh One Year Protection expired (of course!).
There is a huge lag in image transmission to my phone when I am flying my drone. It also frequently loses...
I am currently using firmware version v01.03.0400. I've been stuck on it since May when I upgraded to v01.03.0600 but it was giving me a NFZ error when I booted it up and it wouldn't let me fly. That's when I downgraded....
I see that they have released a ton of updated firmware versions since...
For the past six months, I'd been running an old version of DJI Go. I finally fessed up and downloaded the latest version from the Google Playstore. This is version 4.1.18. I thought maybe they got some of the bugs out by now.
After running it one time, I am even more disappointed than I was...
I just noticed that the one of the plastic pieces on the side of the battery terminal got chipped off. It doesn't appear to have damaged any of the 10 terminals themselves. It seems to be charging just fine.
I notice the charger is really tight and sometimes you really have to pull to get...
When you refer to it adjusting from 1 bar to 3, is there a signal strength reader on the RC itself? Or do you just refer to the bars on the DJI Go app?
Yes, so I've always flown in the city and NEVER tested in an open space like the desert to see if it still loses signal after 0.5 miles... maybe I will try driving out to the plains and test it out.
Thank you all for your responses.
I will try to fly out 0.5 mile with the antenna sticks pointed UP instead of OUT and see if it starts to lose video signal. I've always had the antennas out and flat down when the drone is out far and pointed up only when it is above me... which I believe is...
I have the antennas pointed out, flat. See below. This is how I usually fly it.
Do you recommend I turn them a different way ? Pointed straight up?
I have never flown it indoors before. Aside from the antenna issue, maybe I need a new craft? I have the DJI Refresh if I wanted a refurbished...
