I'd see this whole accessory "problem" pretty plain and simple, very similar to sending your cellphone for repair: just remove every loose/removable part before sending it away.
Be it a clipped on lens hood or some fancy decals or some landing gear. Anything you don't send out cannot get lost...
Sorry guys, you lost me - what exactly is the connection between flight laws in Bulgaria and the original topic of this thread?
Might be just me, but I don't see any.......
option 1 is available on amazon as well...
is that really a noticeable gimbal protection or rather a mental "peace of mind" protection? From the pictures I'd say it doesn't really help keeping the gimbal further away from the ground and it has an open bottom anyway - so how protective could it be?
And flying near Neuschwanstein will also be a no-go from what I read in a German forum: the whole premises of the castle (this includes quite some surrounding forest etc.) is a designated no-fly zone.
Looking at the huge number of visitors (~1.4 million per year = up to ~6,000 daily) I do see a...
Reading a manual (perhaps even thoroughly and more than once),
understanding it
accepting the stated limitations as given and non-negotiable
seem to be forgotten virtues nowadays...
Just like proper "end to end" planning...
Instead we live in a world of "agile development" where plans are made...
Which model code? The older ones don't work, but the newer ones should. (And the problem with Samsung's Exynos powered devices should be solved with the next version of DJI app)

Question remains why a CE version doesn't offer 5GHz in Mauritius.
Geo-fencing usually does not need a map, it needs a GPS signal which then is matched against some internal DJI database.
Besides that I heard recommendations to put the phone in flight mode anyway (to avoid any interference)
Since when is that? I mean the "only from German companies for German residents" thing, not the insurance as such.
I'd have thought any third party liability insurance covering flights in Germany would be sufficient...

Portugal is known for having some of the most complex and complicated approval processes right now.
RTFM to familiarize yourself with the technical limits (e.g. wind speeds the Mini can handle) and the correct antenna orientation towards the copter.
Try to have as few obstacles between you and the drone as possible, even leafless trees in winter can have some negative impact on WiFi...
Read the full manual BEFORE taking off. Then read it again to be sure you really understand the technical limitations of your planned endeavour.
This includes risks of radio interferences and weather conditions (e.g. wind speed in your planned flight and RTH altitudes - wind increases with...
