Never used with zero flight time, I have way too many of these avatas. You can check the serial number to see that I’ve never activated the drone. I can say in good faith that I had the drone ready for use in case my Avata 3.5 wasn’t available, but I have no need for it anymore
I’m looking for...
I built an air 2/2S battery that’s gutted and has an xt60 and 3S balance plug. I then built my 7700mah 11.07v nominal / 12.75v max 2P3S battery and reprogrammed the bms. My total battery weight including the extra payload is 380grams. I will run more tests tomorrow, but am also curious to know...
I’ll take your 44 and raise you 16. I used mini 3 pro plus cells to make a 2P3s config. Battery is 7700mah and 11.07v nominal and 12.75v max. I also reoprogrammed the bq40z307 bms to match the chemical id and parameters of the new cells. :)
It started to rain so I couldn’t conclude my test, but...
My version of the air 2S plus battery.
2s3p Made from 6x mini 3 pro plus cells (3.69v nominal, 4.25v max, 3850mah).
It’s raining where I am so I will do a proper test tomorrow
I have the new cells used in the mini 3 plus battery.
they use copper as the catalyst and have a different chemistry from the previous cells used by dji.
if I replace the current cells used in the air 2 battery with the new 3850mah 11.07v battery and reprogram the bms, I get roughly 36-38min...
I just ordered a few Mavic 3 cells (3.85v nominal and 5000mah) @ 72grams, and have my BMS all prepped. I'll have my custom intelligent flight battery by the first week of feb and will share a video :)
After taking a look into what it would take, i'm offering help to mod controllers by adding SMA connectors to the standard controller, and to the original antennas on the controller. this way you can use the original stock antennas, or connect some boosters and/or different antennas via SMA...
