I really like this guys takes, more of a drone photography/video specialist, but here's his take:

Depending on what video editing software you use, you can render 2.7k/30 or 1080/60 as 4K and it will look about as good as footage shot in 4k, especially if you're uploading to sites like You Tube who compress it anyways .

They had it on sale for $369 just before Father's Day in June, so they do occasionally have it cheaper.

Thanks for the updates, I was about 3/4 of a mile downstream from the dam/lock, kittyhawk was showing no restrictions, dji fly app gave no warnings and there was nothing in the campground rules about drone usage; now I know.

They put it on sale every now and then for the $369 price where you don't have to get the rebate, got that same mini combo for that amount right before Father's Day.

I was at a COE campground this week just below a dam and lock where it forms a narrow lake, there is some commercial barge traffic. I happened to be flying my Mavic Mini over the water right before sundown when one of the barges was passing through. Did keep it up and got some good footage of it...
