I sent my Mavic Pro to Rob at @Thunderdrones and it had a US Army Aircorps skin on it. He gave it back to me without damaging the skin at all. He replaced a rear arm and a gimbal part.
I let Thunderdrones repair my Mavic twice, and it still flies great. His prices are cheap, his work is great, and he offers a load of free information.
Send your drone to him if you need it repaired.
@Thunderdrones
Have you seen it fly?
If it’s been outside for an undetermined amount of time god only knows what could be wrong with it.
See what this guy thinks (he’s really good)
#thunderdrones
Here’s how it works
I have an iPad with no data plan
When I go out and fly I check my flight data on my iPad. If I have no data to the iPad (WiFi or hotspot) it only shows flight tracks.
When I get home (where I have WiFi)
And reopen DJI go and the iPad now has data it shows map info... roads...
You don’t need a data plan for the iPad to work.
If you set up a hotspot with your phone it can get the data that way.
If you choose to go with no data than your maps will not load on the iPad.
If you don’t have refresh (hell even if you do) reach out to #thunderdrones.
He’s patched up my Mavic twice
Both times were gimbal related.
Regardless of what you do... it’s totally fixable.
