Is there any way to access the bootloader on the core board after a bad flash? My mavic went into the solid red mode, and would not connect to usb anymore (keeps reconnecting, shows as unknown device). I swapped the core board and got the drone back up and running, but I'm hoping someone has a...

Does anyone have a broken gimbal they can send me a single screw from, or know where I can order one? I lost one of the tiny screws that hold the ribbon covers on.

Use the bottom USB port to connect your phone, and you can charge the controller with the side port at the same time. There's even an adapter that lets you use the AC battery as a USB power supply.

Still need the remote to fly, but I can turn on only the Mavic and the goggles and get a video feed. Got it on ebay for under $200. There seem to be a few available.

Probably not going to mess with the goggles much, I'd rather not drill into them if not absolutely necessary. I ordered a Nvidia K1 with HDMI out, so we'll see how much the lag bothers me - shouldn't be too much of an issue for long range flights since I'm not getting up close to anything.

That's strange, do you have the RE goggles? I can view the camera through the goggles without ever turning the remote on. Running latest firmware.

It definitely comes from the Mavic, unfortunately. I lose video to the goggles while the tablet still works.

After ordering all the parts to do a boosted RC mod, this naturally seems like the next step. Unfortunately the goggles use a separate video feed directly from the Mavic, so will lose video before the RC does. The antennas are in the head band, with some form of RF connector on them. Modding...

I already had those antennas from a different project, so figured they were a good starting point, might build an antenna tracker if anyone ever figures out how to feed the Mavic's position to a 3rd party app. Not trying to go too high, just maximum distance without worrying about aiming...
