Anyone using a circular polorizer on Mavic 3?

I have the polarpro vivid collection, they are lightweight and get the job done. However, as already described above, using a polarizer on a drone is tricky. Still, if you intend to shoot under specific light conditions these filters are required. For example I tend to shoot a lot of footage and...

Anyone planning to buy the mavic 3 Pro in Europe?

One of the (many) reasons I got the original Mavic 3 last year was that because of its weight, it was almost certain it would get a C1 label and so it did. A C2 label drone even with A2 certification is way too restrictive. I would say that unless you specifically need the 3x zoom of the Mavic 3...

Ositalv hinting at new Mavic 3?

DJI has already introduced Mavic 3 versions for enterprise users: Mavic 3E with mechanical shutter and Mavic 3T with a thermal camera. There's also Mavic 3M (Multispectral) for agriculture.

    4G Dongle Arrived

I have been following this and other topics about the 4G dongle because I want to find out in which countries it can be used and if I can buy one, although we are limited by the drone weight here in Europe. I once even tried to understand in which LTE bands the dongle works so as to find out...

    4G Dongle Arrived

Of course I can't be sure for every country on earth, but VLOS for drones is the most common law requirement. And I wrote that cellular connectivity is designed to be provided as a backup control connection (at least for mavic 3) and it should be available for safety reasons. However, and that's...

    4G Dongle Arrived

This is the law, however, and we should all respect it. Otherwise we risk rules getting stricter.

    4G Dongle Arrived

Cellular connectivity should be provided as a backup in case there are issues with the communication between the controller and the aircraft, that is obvious. However, almost all countries that have laws for UAVs only allow VLOS flights, which requires that the pilot always maintains visual...

Great news for european DJI Mavic 3 customers: c1 label available

Today I received the envelope containing the stickers and some instructions. However I'm not sure of the stickers placement on the aircraft. I understand that this video should be close to what we are supposed to do, except for the "V2.0" sticker, which if I understand the printed instructions...

Solution for Mavic 3 disastrously bad battery charger design?

Disastrous? This charger is designed to stay on a desk for example and so that the batteries can be easily attached to / detached from it. You should probably be looking to buy a different charger.

    Best filters for Mavic 3

Your question is too vague, everything depends on the lighting conditions. For example I have the polarpro "vivid collection" for my Mavic 3, as there is a lot of harsh sunlight here in Greece during the summer.

    ND Filter Settings

There's something wrong with the second link. Is this the app you are referring to?

    Battery charging over 8 hours

I will repeat here that the Mavic 3 uses the USB-PD (power delivery) standard. Any charger you use has to be USB-PD. As to the discharging of the batteries, there is no setting any more, neither in the fly app, nor in the hub. There was one such setting in the old go4 app used with the Mavic 2...

    Battery charging over 8 hours

The charging hub for the Mavic 3 does not have any settings, same as the one for Mavic 2. It just charges the batteries one at the time, starting with the one that is charged more than the others.

    Charging RC Pro

The Mavic 3 is using USB-PD (power delivery) for charging and thus requires a charger that is built around this standard. I do not know the specifications of the RC Pro but I would expect that it also requires USB-PD.

    Battery charging over 8 hours

There's no discharge setting for the Mavic 3 batteries. The battery will discharge to 96% after 3 days of inactivity and to 60% after 9 days. Be advised that pressing its button will reset this timer.
