I take the attitude if I launch on the headland and fly over the ocean it should be ok. I understand the rules are you can't fly in a National park which I try and avoid. Often fly from the shore line over the water in the park.

Waited for the refurbished model like you and when it became available decided to spend a few dollars more and get the SE.
Loved the Mini1 and flew it well over 300m in a range of conditions but the wind was an issue.

After headbutting my mini1 into a cliff,
I replaced it with the SE.
Have only done a short LOS trial so far and will give it a run with photography over the next few weeks.
Same story for me.
After headbutting a cliff (see attached) with my Mini1 I have bought the SE.
It wouldn't connect and indicated the Flysafe app needed updating and would stop at 40%
Chat to DJI help went around in circles.
Uploaded DJI Assistant 2 to the bird still no go.
Day 2 of help desk...
You obviously having fun with the Mini. If I can make a suggestion, keep the vid length to between 2 -3 mins to retain attention and use transitions rather than cut aways.

I was standing on the viewing platform looking down at the drone. Lost all connection. 1 min flight and the brain and hands didn't connect!
It is at the bottom broken and drowned!
