Thank you for the replies. I’ll plan on bringing it with me. I’m not the most artistic so I’ll watch some YouTube videos to help me with some ideas for filming on the gulf.

Merry Christmas! Leaving on the 26th for Treasure Island, Florida. We have a beach front resort on the gulf. Would like to fly my Mavic Pro. Any issues or regulations I should be aware of before bringing or flying my drone? Thanks in advance.

Hmmm. I thought it was the NFZ but couldn’t be positive. If I remember correctly I requested authorization however it never allowed me fly. Next time I’m up there I’ll have to try it again. Thanks!

I’ve had my Mavic Pro for about a year. Have only flown it a couple times. Wanted to use it a couple weekends near the Grand Traverse Bay here in Michigan only to be blocked by the FAA. Thought about flying it over some of the vineyards... but didn’t. I’ve flown it over my house and up and down...
