I am trying to video a 5km path, through a wooded area. I think a good plan is to have the Mini 3 Pro follow me as I either walked or cycle the path. The timing will be in our (UK) winter, so hopefully the drone will see much of the path. I would hope to use the Active Tracking. That would work...

As far as I aware, the only "right" you have on a footpath is to walk on it. As for hand take off and landing, it probably needs a court of law to set a precedence...

The Mini 2 camera has a FOV of about 82', which is very similar to the Mini 3. So I pick the Mini 2, they must be pretty similar I think...

As an Apple Phone user, I have to buy an Android phone to run Litchi Pilot for my newly acquired Mini 3 Pro. I am not familiar with Android phones, thus asking what would be an economic Android phone. I have Googled the Q, it seems that the Huawei P10 might work, it has 32gb, and 3gb of RAM...

Where would I learn how to do that...:)

Why is there a version in the Apple App Store? The page you refer to tells you how to load a version for the Mini 3 Pro... The web page has an "expert" BOT that wants you to pay £1.00 to answer your question. It asks for your credit card details. Sounds extremely fishy to me...........

Are there any other options to use "mapping" software with the Mini 3 Pro, using the IOS platform...?

Wow, I have to admit going higher than 120 metres just to test it, all I did was to set the max ht in the settings... That was with my Mini 2 maybe a year ago. ... Sorry, thats all I can tell you...:(

120 metres or 400 ft is the altitude limit by law. You can change it in the setup, but you would be endangering real aircraft if you do so......
