Nice. Is there a timeframe for upgrade availability in Australia? Also, once upgraded is the system designed so I could swap back to my M2Pro's hasselblad camera from time to time if required - ie leave the extra electronics mounted and just do a camera swap?

In Australia we've been using drones (with paid professional pilots) in addition to regular helicopter shark patrols for some time... Better if people know if they might be on the menu :)

No it wont - when landing the drone keeps the motors powered for a short time after it detects that the controlled descent has stopped. Why do you think it shuts off the motors after a hand catch? :cool:

Interesting, I never had a range issue with the M2P and the RE goggles.... and the external antenna is not used by occusync which relies entirely on the internal antennas. I've never used the external antenna.

Very unlikely for the consumer drones at least (nowhere to plug the data in to the aircraft to get it back to the controller) - but I suspect the enterprise drones will eventually get modules available. I am kinda hoping all the Mavic 2 Pro/Zoom boards contain the receiver but just don't enable...
