New to the world of drones and have been hand catching and launching the Mavic Air 2. Seems simple enough and much better for the drone. Curious if most people use landing gear/pads or just simply hand catch?
I have done this recently and just put the card back in your Drone, fire it up and start recording. Turn off the recording this time and your files will be good to go.
Greetings,
New around here and so glad I have found this amazing resource. I have been reading threads for hours!
Is there a resource or compatibility list for tablets that will work with the Air 2? I want to use my iPad Air 2 will work with it.
Thank in advance.
New to the drone world. Any reason why there is so much aversion to these devices? Like why can you not fly in one of our vast Provincial or National parks?
Thank you @ff22 for the suggestion. Worked perfectly!
Unfortunately my expectation of the Eagle video was not up to what I expected and the flyby was not even in my FOV! Coming from a DSLR taking wildbird images this is a whole new world. I did get an unexpected shot of possibly the same...
You are correct as I have been troubleshooting this figured out I indeed did not stop the recording. I will try you method and hopefully all will be well.
Lesson learned.
Thanks for the help,
Monte
Thanks for the info. Any idea how this would be done?
I have plugged the Mini into the computer via the USB cable and powered it up. It does not show up on anywhere. Usually whatever is plugged in displays on the desktop.
I will search for an answer as well.
Thanks,
Monte
New user here so bear with me if this problem has been discussed before. I could not find any information.
On two occasions now I have had video files that were apparently corrupt and my video editors could not open them.
I am using Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve. There is an Quicktime icon...
Ah...My concerns have been put to rest. I had been watching older reviews on the Mini but found out just now that with the latest firmware update all the manual exposures that are available on other drones is now available on the Mini. Yay!
Thanks, just a little concerned about not being able to control exposure but I see that is changing in new firmware.
It is learning to fly the drone that worries me! That is what I will concentrate on for a while, get up to speed on that then worry about image quality later.
Hi, I am an experienced photographer and the lack of manual settings makes me think I should have started with something more equipped with that ability. In my opinion there is nothing worse than Auto mode that allows exposure to change during recording. I know the mini has AE Lock but still...
New member from Beautiful BC. Just looking for all the info I can find on what I hope to be an entertaining hobby.
Recently purchased a Mini and already think I may have bought the wrong device, maybe should have got an Air 2 to get started.
I hope to learn as much as I can from the wealth...
