I would never fly in tight spots - when the S..T hits the fan you wont have enough room to do anything but panic. Save yourself the grief and go to a baseball field or large field somewhere.

May have been the wrong format - may have been a bad connection within the drone - could be a variety of issues causing it. Was the Micro SD the one that came with the Mini. More details ??

Depends on how much interference there was at the time - really hard to tell with such little detail. Was the controller fully charged, were the antennas pointed properly, were u orientated properly.

Another thing that could cause an issue - lets say you have a non GPS device like an ipad mini 2 like I do - you don't download the maps for that area beforehand and you go fly - you may get a warning of some sort but no map as reference - food for thought !!! Could add to the mayhem !!

That's what I do Meta4 - I scroll aroun beforehand on wifi - it was just the other day I needed to use the Samsung S8 as the ipad was too cold and I noticed that other option of downloading. I only use the Samsung 1 in 50 flights maybe !! Was just wondering why its not an option on the ios app.

So anyone viewing this and uses a IOS device (like a tablet version not an iPhone) do you have the option to download offline maps ??

I see what you mean now - so you think due to the ipad mini not having a built in GPS it doesn't give that option to download (ie. would not know where to hone in in) whereas the Samsung 8 does - I am going to do a print screen of each and add it to my next post.

I get your point Meta4 but why don't I get that same option on ios on my ipad mini2??

I am just going to add to netsonic's post in that the height is relative to the take off spot or home point - if you are part way thru a flight and land at another location (other than the initial recorded home point) mid flight, your drone height will then revert to that new spot you landed at...

My guess is that prop failed on that arm - lets see what the experts tell you according to the logs.

I am going to wake this post up as I realized something recently when my ipad mini 2 would not work and was forced to use a smaller device - samsung s8 - wow what a difference between the 2. Both are running separate versions of Go4 but they are the most updated for ios and android respectively...

Were yours DOA ir are they just getting old ?? I am going on two years with mine and three batteries easily give me 15 minutes down to about 50 percent - I gave really been careful with my batteries - 45-50 lights on all three - I never store them less than 45-60 percent between flights and...

Glad you got it sorted out as I was gonna suggest there was a possible compass issue - I usually get 18-20 satellites - didn't think it was low volume on the mobile device either

How many satellites do you have on the app - sometimes it needs 8 or so to set a home point ??
