I also have had an ipad mini 2 for over a year with my mavic pro. Never an issue either, but I have had an issue with my samsung tab A. I would stick with apple to be on the safe side.

I just purchased a used p3p. I have had my mp for a year. Biggest difference I see is that my p3p lands much quicker than my mp.

Iso is basically the film speed of the photographic camera. It should not have anything to do with sensors.

I've been an electronic tech for 40 yrs. Depends on how protected the components are from the water. Sometimes it can take a while for a failure. But only time can tell. Corrosion can take a while to grow on the foils or components. Hope you are a lucky one.

I have had my mp for a year. It has worked great. Like others said about the gimble- it is fragile. You just need to treat it like a special piece of photography gear. I just purchased a used p3p to compliment my mp. I think both are great pieces of photography equipment.
