Dumb sensor question

Ok, I know the answer here is likely a no, but I just wanna confirm.
Does changing the ISO affect the opti sensors?

I'd say, with a pretty good level of confidence... No.

Iso is basically the film speed of the photographic camera. It should not have anything to do with sensors.

One would think not, unless they used the same CCD as the camera. But I saw a video some time back that seemed to indicate it was connected in some say but I can't recall it well enough to remember the gist
