Did just that. When we arrived at the arch near sunrise, there were already people under the arch. By the time we got back to the parking lot at 8:30 am it was already completely full.

There are large Wilderness areas around Sedona, Munds Mountain to the east and Red Rock Secret Mountain to the north. I would suggest you get a map of those areas as you are not allowed to launch there. There are still plenty of good sites.

It seems that whenever a new drone comes out, I see many YouTube videos of people testing the range of the drone/controller under various conditions. Most, if not all, of these must go well beyond VLOS. I wonder if the FAA Is going to go after all of those?? Should keep them pretty busy. ?

On my Samsung, I can change screen resolutions. I noticed that I experienced similar behavior when I changed to 3200 x 1440 resolution. Can you change screen resolution?

Yes, the green triangle shows lateral(right-left) gimble position. On my MA2, you can move the gimble right and left by dragging your finger across the screen. When I do that, I can see the little green triangle move right and left.

I have heard that one of the reasons that drones were banned in National Parks was because some idiot sunk one in one of the pools in Yellowstone like the Morning Glory Hole... That said, there are also idiots that still throw coins and other items. Too bad we can't outlaw stupidity.

I was able to test it today and you are correct. It appears to represent the camera field of view or gimble position.
