Have been struggling with the same issue as well. Even when flying very slow and using a shutter at 2x frame rate, it is still the same stuttering. I’ve got a million feet on my Mavic Pro. Haven’t had this issue.
I fly from my boat all the time. Folks on thread are giving you valuable advice.
1) disable sensors
2) either set RTH to hover or set to update to controller. Just depends on you and your ability to follow the flight or expecting to drift away or swing at anchor. I always set mine to update...
And also swore I’d never fly them or go to Mexico again.
I kept one promise. Never flew aero Mexico again. But I did go back to Playa Del Carmen. Go robbed coming out of a bar just off the main drag and shopping district. That was 2015. That’s when I said never again to Mexico.
The article specifically mentions requirements for drones over 55lbs but is very vague for smaller UAV. Thinking it may still be possible but require more diligence when traveling into and out of Mexico. However, one thing I’ve learned in my experience going to Mexico, laws don’t matter. They’ll...
Maybe just me, but literally have to calibrate the compass before every flight. Every time I start up I’m informed of compass error and need to calibrate.
Every time. Even after a flight, land. Change battery and startup again. Calibrate compass.
Never ever had this happen with my Mavic Pro...

Id love to know how to disable this motor shutdown stick combination.
Terranea is an excellent place to fly. Agree completely and my go to location if there are too many people around. Don’t want to run afoul of flying over folks wherever possible. I like heading out over the cliffs and shooting the kelp forests.
I’ll be in LA next week too. Working but there through the weekend. Can fly with you next Saturday.
Some nice places to try launch from are the cliffs above Palos Verdes not far from Long Beach. It’s residential but there are some open community parks and I’ve never had a problem flying there...
