Gimbal issues (violent twitching) since crash and home repair.

OK, so just to update - they have had serious trouble in getting parts. I'm in the UK, so maybe Brexit, maybe the stuck ship in the Suez Canal, maybe both! Anyway, i had a message a couple of days ago to say the repair is complete so I am very much looking forward to getting my drone back soon...

Can I use waypoints with a standard controller and the DJI Fly app?

Hello all, Can somebody tell me if the DJI app supports waypoints? I'd quite like to plan a flight and then set my Mini 2 off on it. I was tinkering with the app last night but I don't have the drone or the controller to hand presently (off for repair), so it seems that all options aren't...

Gimbal issues (violent twitching) since crash and home repair.

OKJ, just to update this, in case it helps anybody else. After reading extensively about the gimbal issue, I eventually decided that I'd have it repaired by somebody that knew what they were doing. The front left arm, I repaired myself - since its easy enough, but the gimbal was a different...

I agree, it does look bent sharply, but it isn't - its just the way the light is catching it, I think.

Gimbal issues (violent twitching) since crash and home repair.

Well, I have reseated the top cable and pushed the bottom one in using tweezers and things are still the same. Something else that I've noticed is that sometimes the movement happens more than others, I can be quite stable for a while sometimes. Cables, maybe, or maybe I should take the green...

Gimbal issues (violent twitching) since crash and home repair.

Hi there and thanks for your message. Yes, I was thinking last night that it may a cable as the top ribbon cable (marked with the red arrow), had been disconnected when it crashed. When I clipped it back in, I didn't feel that it had seated down quite firmly enough but it seemed secure so i put...

Sorry, just to say that the part is plastic!

Gimbal issues (violent twitching) since crash and home repair.

Hello all, I recently went out with my Mini 2 and had a really good flight, only to stack it into a tree at the end - it was entirely my fault and the original thread about that (and asking advice for repair), is here. On inspection, there were two issues: I had cracked the front left arm up...

Help with glueing the camera mount/bracket - SOLVED

Okay, thank you to everyone that has offered advice here. I ended up buying some more superglue, but this time the Loctite one, instead of the generic one I used before. There were two options in the shop, a £6 and a £7 one. I went for the £7 one and its worked a treat. I can upload a pic of it...

Help with glueing the camera mount/bracket - SOLVED

Hello all, I took my longest flight last night while everybody was in bed and I had a bit of time to myself. It was great but ended badly when I crashed into a tree, this was entirely my fault. On first inspection, the drone just had one broken arm (front left, up near the motor). I tried...

Thanks, have you a link for the strobe?

To light or not to light (In the UK)? And some protection?

I am also in the UK, am a new pilot and very often visually lose my Mini 2. Tonight I came across the idea of skinning it with something bright, rather than lighting it up. Have a look here and I hope it helps you. As for wet or foggy weather, I just don't fly in it! Cheers :)

    Hello from the UK.

Great - thank you very much. I have the user manual and I have watched most of the videos but all this other stuff you've linked to will be good to go thorough, so than you very much for putting everything I need in one place! All the best, Nick.
