I too still have my MPP and due to all the new legistlations only use in remote areas, I must say that even dough it's outdated i still perfer over my mini3 pro
No Controller with built-in screen will work to fly MP1 or MPP, when flying my MPP i use mavmount2 attached to controller and then you can use a mini or full size tablet as a screen, Mavmount is light and compliments the controller.
I can see you are in London and with a Mavic Pro you will not be able to fly around most places if any?, were a 250gr mini 2 or 3 you would be a lot less restricted around built up areas

I know it's stupid, but have you edit the pass text with key numbers given when you paid? you can also try disabling firewall in your PC
Also make sure you have DJI Assistant 2 for Consumer drones for required drivers.
