Probably figured this one out by now but if you really wanted to get those side sensors working you could change the flight parameters of tripod mode to match the normal mode. Still not a permanent fix, and i don't understand why they're not enabled by default or through a setting.

They aren't really that bad, from personal experience with my Mavic pro the worst you can expect is a few decent cuts but no stitches at least in my experience.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good weatherproof camera bag backpack that would fit My Mavic, Osmo mobile 2 and conventional DSLR along with various other accessories. This is my main setup when it comes to filmmaking and I really need a bag to carry it all in.

The downward sensors are slow to react to obstacles below them for a reason, if your relatively quick then it won’t do this. Another way to counter this is to fly the mavic into your hands.

I disagree, the sensors are slow to react to downward objects for a reason and it lets you do it without a hitch and I’m only 14 and I’ve never had any problems.

Yes, I do it al the time. For me I just reach up with one hand and lower it down with the other, then grab hold of it and pull down on the stick. It will fight you for a bit then it will slow down and the motors will stop. If you want to take off I recommend holding it high and as far from you...

It looks amazing on a nice foggy morning, and all I want to do is get out the mavic and fly through it to get an amazing shot but will the fog cause water damage to the mavic or make it wet. Has anyone done this or had any experiences?

I know that the Mavic Pro is a reasonably durable piece of tech, but how fragile is the gimbal? I feel like if I don’t have the gimbal clamp on then just a sharp jerk, a small knock or placing it on a table to hard will break it somehow. The gimbal just seems like it could get broken so easily...
