Criminal Drone Operators caught - Updated - NOT GUILTY!

I live in New York State, and many years ago I was a falconer. To become one, you had to take a test, which was given twice a year. You had to get at least 80% on it. You had to have a sponsor who was a master falconer, have a mews with guidelines to keep the bird, have it inspected and...

    Flying in snow

Thanks for all the good advice. Being a real cautious guy, I’ll probably only fly it when it’s dry in the winter. It’s my first winter with it and I’m more excited to get snowy scenery footage than I was in the summer. I live in a rural area with lots of trees and fields. So far though, no snow...

    Flying in snow

Hi guys, I have a Mavic Pro and was wondering about flying while it’s snowing. Is it safe? My idea was to just to put it up 20/30” for 5 minutes or less, then bring it in and wipe it down good. Has anyone done this? Does the video and pics turn out ok, or does the lens get wet and distort them...

Goggles? Do they make big difference?

Yeah, being that I’m not too inclined to bring attention to myself, I can’t see myself wearing them in a public setting. I have a few acres in a very rural area, so I’m pretty content with staying on my property. It wouldn’t surprise me to see more regulation with more restrictions though

Goggles? Do they make big difference?

I’ve only had my goggles for a couple months, and have only flown with them a half dozen times. I love them. But I have a large property and have kept it here. Like has been said, I take off and land with them flipped up. It was a pain at first, because I wear glasses, but I bought the...

    Corrective lenses

Well, I ordered them from the DJI store. They were 29$, but 15 $ shipping! I’m used to amazon,. I looked there first, but they didn’t have my magnification. So, hoping they work. I have the same problem with the cheap magnifiers, they end end up touching my face and getting blurry, so it’d be...

    Corrective lenses

Thank you for your reply. Funny, didn’t even realize DJI had their own. I did read that you needed +1 stronger. Another thing I was wondering, iMy eyes aren’t exactly the same, my left eye is weaker. I was wondering if I should find out from my eye doctor what my prescription is. The readers I...

    Corrective lenses

Bought my goggles a few days ago. First thoughts: adds a whole new dimension to flying. No longer afraid to go between trees and around obstacles, even though I use an iPad mini, I was hesitant to do that. Love the telemetry and info being right on the screen. Had no problem syncing with the...

    Protective Case for Goggles

They do make a case that holds the drone and goggles, I’ve seen it on amazon

    NFZ!!

A window comes up asking if you would like a verification code. I think it’s from DJI, so you have to be registered. It sends you a 6 number code that lasts 5 minute for you to plug in. I’m not real sure if my recollection is accurate, maybe someone more experienced could explain it better.i...
