Hi Chris, This is strange. Are you able to share one sample set to look further? For us the process is slow and requires a lot of memory, but runs to the end - tested with Air3, Mavic3, Mavic4 70 mm panoramas.

We just released version 1.8.1 of PanoVolo - drone panorama photo stitcher. This version adds support for Mavic 4 Pro. Panoramas captured with main 28 mm and tele cameras are supported. That includes 360 panoramas captured with 70 mm camera (155 frames). More info at PANOVOLO : Panorama...

QB definitely has it's own processing challenges. But here's a DNG from mini3 opened in LR at 200% also. And the sensor in this drone is also QB. While it's not the most amazing picture sharpness-wise, I see less "patchiness" and more microcontrast in this example.

I'm sorry to be harsh, but these are simply horrendous results. Optically the lens is a mush. And something went terribly wrong with 100->25 mpx quad bayer binning. I see the same very strange color patch issues that @Filmarik has noticed. Look at the out of focus rendering on the ferry boat...

I feel they try to be more video- rather than photo-oriented

Wide angle is 3 rows of 7 frames in most drones, except mini 3 non-pro (and 2 I think) where it is a single row of 7 frames covering roughly 180 deg horizontally.
